Marking our 20th year of honouring the needy Elderly in Singapore, Care & Share 2009 brought over 5,000 needy Elderly to The Float @ Marina Bay for a grand celebration on the 24th October 2009.
     Over a sumptuous seven-course dinner, the Guests were entertained by song & dance performances, magic shows, as well as by celebrities like Lina Ng, Tammy Zhou, Muralikrishnan, Mahani Mohammed and Chen Mei Guan. Lucky draw winners were pleasantly surprised when various pageant queens presented them with their prizes at their table. Each of our Guests took home a goodie bag with food vouchers and daily necessities and was delighted to receive a special Ang Pow at the end of the celebration.
     Well over 2,000 members from VFC were involved as volunteers for Hope Community Services Centre, a VFC social outreach arm, in organising, managing and running the operations like clockwork to make this event a great success.
